NDPA School Band
We are SO EXCITED to be adding an NDPA School Band to our After School Programs! At this point we are having interested parents sign up to learn more about the opportunity and to be able to attend the meeting about the band. PLEASE sign up if you are interested. More details can be found on RIGHT HERE!
Band instruments will include Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, and Percussion.
Orchestra instruments will include Violin, Viola, and Cello.
We will move forward with whichever group of instruments has more interest among the students.
Band lessons will be twice a week (on Tuesdays and Thursdays) for 45 minutes (3:15 to 4 pm).
HIP HOP CREW

We are excited to have our Hip Hop Crew ready to start this year as well. Come learn some hip hop moves and have fun making new friends.
Students will learn how to dance hip hop through drills, choreography, and free-styling exercises using age-appropriate music and moves.
Hip Hop will offer your student the opportunity to build their confidence, create a community and express themselves creatively. Students will explore dance and music in a supportive environment hosted by Ms. Naomi Campbell with the support of POET.
Hip Hop is open to all 7th to 9th graders – no prior experience is required!
This activity will take place on Fridays from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. Lessons will be held on October 2nd, October 9th, October 23rd, October 30th, November 6th, and November 13th.
Please ensure that your student wears comfortable, easy-to-move-in clothing. Baggy sweatpants and a loose T-shirt are popular choices for hip-hop but any standard athletic wear works great.
After School Activities

After School Activities are put on by NDPA POET. POET is a group of NDPA parents trying to give back to the school. Giving back to the students, teachers and administrators is our mission. Become a part of the NDPA POET family and help us give back.
