The New NDPA BAND!
We are so excited to have our inaugural NDPA band this year. Thank you for your support of our band!
We have gotten enough support from you, your students and NDPA to move forward with creating a band THIS YEAR!
The next step in the band process is to have a meeting with you and your student(s) to test out different instruments, learn more about the program, and sign up officially if you would like. The parent meeting will be held open house style on September 17th at 3:30 to 5:30 in the elementary gym.
Please fill out this RSVP so we know who to expect.
Instrument rentals are available through Riverton Music. If you have one of the listed instruments that you’d like to play, please bring it.
Instruments and Band or Orchestra?
Band instruments will include Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, and Percussion.
Orchestra instruments will include Violin, Viola, and Cello.
We will move forward with whichever group of instruments has more interest among the students.
Band lessons will be twice a week (on Tuesdays and Thursdays) for 45 minutes (3:15 to 4 pm).
The cost of lessons is $225 for the year. This can be paid upfront OR with a $50 registration fee and $25 per month paid November through May.
